Facebook - Entity Crowdsourcing

The Facebook Entities team handles informational facebook pages about people, places, and things. I implemented a UI to allow users to suggest changes to entities, like restaurant addresses and hours, to allow crowdsourcing of information.

Accomplishments

• Implemented and ran experiment on 3 different UI formats. Collected data and analyzed hand-labeled suggestion qualities to choose the clearest UI.
• Implemented wikipedia contextual snippets for "Pages about X" graph searches.
• Completed hackathon project for graph search visualization overlaying photos on a map where they were taken. This would show up for queries like "photos of Italy".
